Lily had a big day last weekend. She went swimming for the 1st time. I have never been known for being great swimmer or for being fond of the water so Lily must take after her dad because there was no fear with this child.
After slathering the child in sunscreen I had to switch her hat to one that matched better (no grandma I wasn't going to leave the unmatching one on)
Then it was time for the big moment. Her daddy put her in the pool.
The pool's flower shoots out water.
Then it was time for some swimming. 1st with daddy's help.
And then all by herself.
Lily thought the flower was neat
All that swimming made Lily tired
But she was sure to thank daddy for setting her pool up

You have redeemed yourself by making sure Lily had a matching hat. I love the one of her with the giraffe print shirt and leopard shoes. Lily sure appreciated the spots on her leopard pumps! lol! These pictures are beautiful and made me smile and laugh. You are great mommy and daddy! love mom!
