Seaworld

A couple of weeks ago our family took a trip to San Antonio and Seaworld and we had a blast.
Lily was able to have breakfast with the characters from Sesame Street. As would be expected with Lily, there was no crying but a warm up period was needed. After a while she was going up to the characters for hugs on her own. Abbey and Elmo were her favs.

Seaworld also has an awesome Sesame Street World.

There was this giant ropes course activity that Lily could not resist. Luckily Kirk was willing to go in with her. He did not help Lily climb at all. It was all her.  He said there was time that she had a "this is too hard" look on her face but that "shes like me and just wouldn't quit"  I found this to be such a sweet statement.

We saw Penguins and some amazing shows! Kirk and I so want a pet whale now.

So we saw this lady selling these puppet shamoos at one of the shows. Kirk really wanted to get Lily one. The lady never came by our aisle and we searched every store for one. Finally the last store had one and boy did Lily love it.

Our trip to Seaworld was as perfect as they get. We were there on a Sunday and it was not crowded at all.  It was a breezy shady cool day. Lily was so well behaved and even without a nap, having gone to bed late, she did not melt down until we were on our way to the parking lot.  And for a 2 year old that is pretty amazing.

Lily doesn't like to sleep anywhere but her crib.  She will scream her head off before she sleeps in the car.  Well this was Lily before we had even left the park grounds.  Yep she was tired!

I will post some videos soon.
